Lab Quality Standards — How Renew Lab Group Ensures Every Vial Is Pharmaceutical Grade

At Renew Lab Group, quality isn’t a checkbox — it’s the entire business model. Every vial of bacteriostatic water we manufacture goes through a documented, multi-step quality control process before it leaves our Houston, Texas facility. This page is your complete guide to how we manufacture, test, and certify our products — and why those standards matter for your research.

Our Quality Control Process — Step by Step

From raw water to sealed vial, every step in our manufacturing process is controlled, documented, and verifiable. Here is exactly how we produce bacteriostatic water that meets pharmaceutical-grade standards.

  1. Source Water Preparation — We begin with purified water that meets Water for Injection (WFI) standards: conductivity <1.3 µS/cm, TOC <500 ppb, and endotoxin <0.25 EU/mL. See our WFI Standards page.
  2. Benzyl Alcohol Addition — Pharmaceutical-grade benzyl alcohol (USP) is added at precisely 0.9% ± 0.05% under controlled conditions. Concentration is verified prior to filling by preliminary HPLC analysis.
  3. Sterile Filtration — The solution is passed through validated 0.22-micron sterilizing grade filters, removing all bacteria and particles above 0.2 microns.
  4. Cleanroom Filling — Vials are filled in our ISO 5/7-aligned cleanroom environment under positive pressure with HEPA-filtered air, following aseptic technique protocols.
  5. Container Closure Integrity Testing — Sealed vials are tested to confirm stopper and crimp seal integrity. Any vial with a compromised closure is rejected.
  6. Batch Release Testing — Before any lot is released, it undergoes HPLC assay, LAL endotoxin testing, pH verification, sterility confirmation, and appearance inspection.
  7. Certificate of Analysis Issuance — Lot-specific COA is generated with all test results and approved by quality review before the batch is released for shipment.

Quality Standards Deep Dives

Why Quality Documentation Matters for Your Research

When you use bacteriostatic water to reconstitute a research peptide, the quality of that water directly affects the integrity of your experimental results. Undocumented water with variable benzyl alcohol concentration introduces an uncontrolled variable. Contaminated water with high endotoxin levels can trigger inflammatory responses that skew immunological and metabolic research data entirely.

This is why Renew Lab Group provides a Certificate of Analysis with every single order — not as an upsell, not on request, but as a standard part of every shipment. Because your research deserves verifiable inputs.
